Location
Centrally located in Red Deer, Crimtech is within close proximity to field operations and many gas plants, which is convenient for both our clients and us. For site service work, our clients can realize cost savings just from travel time fees.

One-Stop Shop
Crimtech is a one-stop shop for gas production equipment, be it wellhead separators, meter runs, storage tanks or a combination of these products. We can also install an EFM device on our clients' units, track their gas flow measurements, export the data to their accountants or schedule maintenance service work for all of their production equipment and instrumentation.

Crimtech's employees continually improve their safety skills through industry training.  All workers are required to attend monthly safety meetings.

Personnel are regularly encouraged to participate in various areas of our safety program.  Hazards are assessed and risk managed through implemented safety control measures.  Inspections are performed on a regular basis to facilities and equipment to identify deficiencies that require correction.  Regular field site inspections are conducted to ensure company personnel follow established safety practices.

It is also important to us that we incorporate safety into our designs for our clients.  Part of our quality control procedure checks the ergonomics of the design.  We test this by placing human characters into a 3-D model.  Valve or control accessibility, excessive reaching, "bump points" and ease of maintenance are all verified before drawings are issued for construction.

We are continuously finding better ways to protect the environment in our operations.  We run on the philosophy that every little bit counts.  Simple practices like turning off the lights in unoccupied rooms save electricity.  Programmable thermostats that allow the building after hours to cool down in the winter or warm up in the summer are just a few examples.

Environmental Designs

From our beginning roots, Crimtech has always been environmentally conscious.  Part of our quality control procedure checks that we have considered environmental protection in our designs.  This can be as simple as installing a gate valve instead of a ¼ turn ball valve as the last valve to the atmosphere.  Gate or globe valves are harder to bump open resulting in less risk of any fluid spilling out into the environment.

Crimtech works close with our Suppliers who offer environmentally friendly products and pass this on to our customers.  Gas saving chemical pumps and heaters are just a few examples.  We look at every detail and find ways to make them more environmentally friendly.

Crimtech's engineers are very knowledgeable on all the latest codes and directives put forth by government agencies.  Extensive training and attendance at code presentation seminars ensures our clients their project will be code compliant the first time.

Our environmental protection just doesn't stop at these simple small things.  Crimtech has invented industry changing products like the PlasTank^TM produced water storage tank.  Introduced to industry back in 1997, PlasTank^TM is a marvel in heat conservation.  Developed around heat offered by the produced water and solar energy absorbed by the tank shells design, PlasTank^TM uses 1/3 less gas for heating than a steel tank.  It's doubled walled design is extremely corrosion resistant and its light weight takes less fuel per mile to transport to site.
